In Honor of Patrick Henry
The words "We the People of the United States," are hereby repealed so that the preamble to the Constitution for the United States of America reads:
We the States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
Section 2.
The last words "or to the people." are hereby repealed so that the tenth article of amendment to the Constitution for the United States of America reads:
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively.
Section 3.
The seventeenth article of amendment to the Constitution for the United States of America is hereby repealed,
